9TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT FOR RESIDENTS AND COMMUNITY

Hassalo on Eighth’s 9th Anniversary event is scheduled in the Fall, so naturally, an Oktoberfest theme was born. The event space was hosted in our midrise building’s lounge and courtyard space, allowing plenty of room to move around and mingle. The indoor/outdoor amenity space allowed folks to eat in the sunny but chilly courtyard, or within the lounge where the DJ took the party up a notch. The most important aspect to plan: Beer; so finding a local brewery to pour would be ideal. 

The Problem: Transforming the space into an event worthy atmosphere and finding the right price and brand for German food to serve guests. Another hurdle was concepting and planning a party favor gift for all residents attending to take home. 

The Solution: Large scale print banners were ideal to hang in the lounge to transform the space. These were custom illustrated to vector banners that sized up beautifully. The mountain illustration was perfect for our Polaroid photo-op. German food came from a local food truck that accommodated beyond expectation. The brewery chosen was also local, so it was great to have residents see and interact with the owner who poured their seasonal IPA and Cider. For the gift, I wanted to keep it practical, which resulted in a custom illustrated beer mug to be used as resident's beverage vessel at the party.
